The SDI RMYoung Wind Monitor is an R.M.Young mechanical dual wind sensor with FTS-engineered SDI-12 output capabilities, which provides many advantages over analog wind sensors:

• permits multiple sensors per datalogger
• allows datalogger to acquire sensor serial number automatically

The SDI-12 interface removes the complexity of measuring the AC wind speed direction or the potentiometer output.
