Western Fire Chiefs Association Calls for Modern Data Network

Jeff Johnson, president of the Western Fire Chiefs Association in an article published in Urgent Communications, has made a public plea to bring some of the communication technology that the consumer market has been benefitting from for years to the first responders and the wildland fire community.
“As a fire chief with 32 years of experience, I can say with conviction that events happen every day — in both remote and urban areas — that would be greatly impacted by the creation of a nationwide public-safety broadband network.” says Mr. Johnson.
