Wind Sensors

FTS offers a variety of sensors made by leading manufacturers for measuring wind speed and wind direction, both analog and digital, mechanical and non-mechanical. Each has been selected for its ruggedness and reliability, and all are fully supported by FTS.

• The standard wind sensor used on the FTS fixed RAWS is the SDI RMYoung Wind Monitor.
• The standard wind sensor used on the FTS portable RAWS is the Dual Analog Wind Speed/Direction Sensor.
